A new exhibit at the Coastal Discovery Museum features depictions of various crocodile species from around the world.

“Crocodilian Scratchboards by John Agnew” — on display now — includes 20 scratchboards, or a technique similar to engravings in early zoology texts. The exhibit also includes four paintings and six sketches of species including images of the American Alligator, found in the Lowcountry.

The exhibit will run through May 2, at the museum at 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head.

Hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11a.m.-3 p.m. on Sundays.
