Lucas: Beaufort church kicks off spring organ concert series
The Parish Church of St. Helena will launch its spring organ concert series this Friday, with the program’s featured young musician, Shayla De Jong, of Luther College in Iowa.
The concerts are free and will be held at noon every Friday, through April 15, with no concert scheduled for March 25. Concerts last about 50 minutes.
A special addition to the series featuring the Stetson University Concert Choir from DeLand, Fla., will be at 7:30 p.m. May 9.
The church is at 505 Church St., Beaufort.
