Lucas: Cranford Hollow and friends to hold two shows in February
Rock ’n’ roll, roots rock and pop music fans take note.
Cranford Hollow will open for Hilton Head native vocalist Mckenzie Eddy as part of the Swampfire Chapel Series at Palmetto Bluff.
Elliott Smith will accompany Eddy. Together, the pair have a self-described “jazzy, soul, R&B-fueled sound.”
The show is at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 and costs $40.
Then, Cranford Hollow, Will Snyder and Trophy Wife will give a benefit concert for Jesse Watkins, a local musician and golf pro who recently suffered a stroke.
“Our Best for Jess” is at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24, at the Big Bamboo, in Coligny Plaza, at 1 N. Forest Beach Drive, Hilton Head and will continue into the night.
Tickets are $65 for the early “dinner show” which includes dinner, beer or wine and $10 for the late night show.
Proceeds from the concert will go to help Watkins with medical bills.
