Lucas: Lee Jean fans must wait another week before seeing Bluffton's favorite 'Idol' contestant
The countdown to see Bluffton's Lee Jean on "American Idol" is in full swing with one more week to go, according to the show's official schedule.
Jean appeared before music giants Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. two weeks ago on what is the final season of the show and was awarded the golden ticket to Hollywood.
The show continues this week with more auditions in Atlanta, Little Rock, Philadelphia and San Francisco. These will be the last round of auditions so you won't want to miss the emotional highs and lows.
Jean fans may catch a glimpse of the young singer beginning Jan. 27 when the show's famous "Hollywood Week" begins.
A "showcase" round with the top 24 semi-finalists will be revealed on Feb. 4.
Additional highlights include previous 'Idol' winners Nick Fradiani, Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze will join the show in the search for talent.
Also, Kelly Clarkson, who won the first season, will return Feb. 25 as a guest judge and performer, according to the show's website.
The show is scheduled to run through April 7 and will conclude with a live, two-hour farewell celebration.
American Idol airs from 8-9 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8-10 p.m. on Thursdays on FOX.
