Lucas: Fans of Bluffton 'Idol' hopeful Lee Jean may have to wait a couple of weeks to see him on TV again
Those hoping to see Bluffton teen Lee Jean on "American Idol" this week may have to wait a couple of weeks.
Last week, Jean appeared before music giants Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. on what is the final season of the show and was awarded his ticket to Hollywood.
The show continues this week with more auditions -- first in Philadelphia then on to Denver and Little Rock.
Next week, auditions head back to Atlanta, Little Rock, Philadelphia and San Francisco for Jan. 20 and 21.
Hollywood Week -- which is actually spread out over the course of two weeks -- will give Idol hopefuls, including Jean, another chance to wow judges. A "showcase" round with the Top 24 semi-finalists will be revealed on Feb. 4.
Additional highlights: Previous 'Idol' winners Nick Fradiani, Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze will join the show in the search for talent.
The show is scheduled to run through April 7 and will conclude with a live, two-hour farewell celebration.
American Idol airs from 8-9 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8-10 p.m. on Thursdays on FOX.
