Letter: Real purpose of Clinton foundation

It is a known fact that Hillary Clinton is an habitual liar and during a debate told a whopper when she stated that her foundation uses 90 percent of its money for charities when the truth is they only use 6 percent. The best charities use 92 percent, like the Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Recently, her foundation reported income of approximately $149 million. Its functional expenses were $84.5 million, and travel expenses were $8.5 million. The travel expenses reflect the cost of chartering private planes as the Clintons don’t fly commercially.

After the earthquake in Haiti, the Clintons promised to build a hospital and the Haitians are still waiting. The foundation was set-up as a slush fund, providing income to Clinton’s cronies and family. When it was originated, it wasn’t designated as a charity and the Clintons didn’t pay taxes on the income, as they never had it registered, and they eventually had to file amended tax returns and pay back taxes.

They always seem to be able to skirt the law without suffering any consequences. As Secretary of State, Hillary sold her time for contribtions to the foundation. Her biggest contributors were lobbyists, big corporations and foreign countries that contributed tens of millions, such as Saudia Arabia, United Emirate, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Algeria and Brunei. These Middle Eastern countries don’t allow rights of woman, Jews, Christians and gays, who Hillary claims to support. They gave to Clinton’s foundation because they are hedging their bets, hoping Hillary will become president and will be indebted to them.
