My pet isn’t eating after the evacuation. Should I be worried?

It’s normal for your pet to be anxious and disoriented for a few days with a change as big as an evacuation, according to Bluffton Veterinary Hospital.

If you’re concerned or if your pet isn’t eating for longer than that, you may want to bring it into your veterinarian’s office.

Any questions about your pet’s health, especially if it may be an emergency, should be directed to your vet.
