Will Marines still be graduating on Friday?

Yes.

According to Parris Island representatives, the naturalization and graduation ceremony for Golf and Oscar companies will continue.

The ceremony has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Peatross Parade Deck.

A press release from officials states that family day activities scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday have been canceled to include briefs and tours conducted on Wednesday and the motivation run and family day to include new Marine liberty on Thursday.

Guests cannot access the island until 8 a.m. Oct. 14.
