Is the Spanish Wells bridge over the marsh open?

On Monday morning, Hilton Head Island Fire & Rescue Fire Marshal Joheida Fister confirmed the bridge is doing fine.

“All state-maintained bridges, including Jarvis Creek at Spanish Wells, have been checked by the state and have been found structurally sound and safe for the passage of traffic,” she said.
