What do the beaches on Hilton Head Island look like?

Just after noon Sunday, Hilton Head Island Town Engineer Scott Liggett said there wasn’t open passage to the beaches yet to assess the damage.

Once roads and passageways are cleared enough he’ll be able to get out there and take a look, but he said he could not estimate how long that would take at this time.
