What’s the latest on reports of looting?

As of Friday morning there have been no reports of looting in Beaufort County, according to Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Bob Bromage and Bluffton Police Department spokeswoman Joy Nelson.

Deputies and police officers are constantly patrolling neighborhoods and businesses across the county.

On Thursday evening, the heavy law enforcement presence was visible.
