You’ll have to find an alternate route to get to Charleston International from I-95. All I-26 lanes will be routed westbound — away from the airport — from the I-526 interchange all the way to Columbia.

U.S. 17 also will be subject to lane reversal as it funnels traffic away from John’s Island, Seabrook Island and Kiawah Island. One option might be U.S. 17 Alternate through Walterboro, but leave plenty of time. And check with the airline to see if the flight’s still on the board.
