An old witticism suggests you shouldn’t pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel, and a variation of that advice might be useful for those who would prod Donald Trump on Twitter.
A day after former GOP nominee Mitt Romney chided Trump for not releasing tax information, Trump unleashed a Twitter barrage, calling Romney “one of the dumbest and worst candidates in the history of Republican politics.”
“I love Twitter,” Trump tweeted in 2012. “It’s like owning your own newspaper -- without the losses.”
