Kasich, Pataki to make local town hall stops this fall with Sen. Tim Scott
Former New York Gov. George Pataki and Ohio Gov. John Kasich will stop by Beaufort County this fall as part of US Sen. Tim Scott's presidential town hall series.
Pataki and Kasich are part of a crowded field of Republican presidential hopefuls, and their local forums are part of a series of town hall-style meetings Scott is hosting with the candidates across the state this summer and fall.
Pataki will visit Bluffton on Oct. 16. Pataki and Scott had scheduled a forum in Bluffton last month, but Scott had to cancel the event to be in Washington, D.C.
Kasich will visit Hilton Head on Nov. 11.
Locations and times for the events have not been announced.
