Portions of this Hilton Head road will be closed Monday and Tuesday

A portion of Oakview Road will be closed to through traffic on Monday and Tuesday, according to a release.

The northern section of Oakview Road and Spanish Wells Road will remain open, but the southern intersection with Spanish Wells Road will be closed.

Hilton Head Public Service District will be installing sewer service in the area as part of the town’s initiative to install sewer service in the north and mid-island areas, according to the release.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone and to follow traffic control directions, the release said.
