Woman found dead in Hardeeville; JCSO investigating
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the possible homicide of a woman found dead in Hardeeville early Sunday morning.
Syquest Lockwood Gonzalez’s body was found very early on Sunday off Old Charleston Road, Sheriff Gregory Jenkins said. She is believed to have just turned 24 years old.
The sheriff said the woman had two last known addresses, one on Old Miller Road in Bluffton and the other in Riverside Mobile Home Park in Hardeeville.
Investigations are ongoing, and deputies are following leads and hope to have something more to report soon, Jenkins said.
