Cops: Man, woman found naked in car in downtown Rock Hill

ROCK HILL -- Two people found naked in a car in downtown Rock Hill had just met at a bar were trying to “spice things up” when an officer found them, according to police.

A Rock Hill Police officer on patrol downtown Thursday night saw a silver BMW parked illegally in a loading area at the Gettys Center at 201 E. Main St. The engine was running and the parking lights were on, according to a report. Officer Wayne Maury, the community service officer assigned to the downtown area, saw a man and woman naked in the rear seat, and the woman yelled at Maury to go away.

When asked why she was naked, the woman said she was “trying to get her groove on,” the report states. The two were asked to get dressed and step outside.

The woman, who was grossly intoxicated and yelled throughout the incident, told Maury she and the man met at a bar in downtown Rock Hill and came to the parking area to “spice things up.” She was charged with public disorderly conduct.

The man was found to have a warrant with Tega Cay Police. Both were taken to the Rock Hill city jail.
