Sheriff's Office investigating suspicious Lady's Island death

A suspicious death in northern Beaufort County is under investigation by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

 The death was reported about 4 p.m. Sunday in a wooded area off Big Ben Lane.

The Sheriff's Office warned residents to expect an increased law enforcement presence in the area that afternoon.
