The Beaufort County Coroner confirmed that the man missing in Bluffton Tuesday was found dead.

Bryce Bond, 36, was reported missing on Tuesday after having not been seen since the day before. Later that day, officers from the Bluffton Police Department found his body “not too far” from his home, in a wooded area at the corner of Buckwalter Parkway and Bluffton Parkway, department spokesperson Sgt. Bonifacio Perez said Wednesday.

No foul play is suspected, the police department said. Bond’s cause of death is still pending from the Beaufort County Coroner.

At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Bluffton Police Department updated their Facebook to confirm that Bond had been found. It wasn’t until Wednesday afternoon that the department confirmed that Bond had been found deceased the day before.
