Hungry for a hot dog, Beaufort? You’re in luck

Hungry for a hot dog, Beaufort? You’re in luck.

Peace, Love and Hot Dogs opened Friday at 11 a.m. at 911 Boundary St. The new hot dog stand will include a variety of hot dog styles, chips and bottled drinks to start, co-owner Teresa Cox said.

Don’t worry, cold beer will flow as soon as the store has its license.

The all-beef hot dogs will include New York-style, Southern-style and Chicago dog. There will be a vegetarian hot dog and a creation called the “Stoner” with pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and marinara.

Homemade chili and homemade slaw will be hallmarks of the new hot dog spot, Cox said. Peace, Love and Hot Dogs will offer lunch delivery, she said.

The owners renovated the former Yes Thai Indeed building and will offer outdoor seating.
