Hospital's marketing work recognized at awards show
Marketing work developed for Beaufort Memorial Hospital has received multiple awards at a regional awards show, officials say.
The work, developed by West Columbia-based Riggs Partners, was recognized with six awards, including Best in Show, at the Carolinas HealthCare Public Relations & Marketing Society's annual Wallies and Golden Tusk Awards ceremony, according to a news release.
The awards are presented at the society's annual fall conference held in November.
In addition to Best in Show, the awards included a Gold Wallie for a mixed media campaign for the hospital's Joint Replacement Center, a Gold Wallie for a TV advertisement for "John's Orthopaedic Story," a Gold Wallie for a TV advertisement for "Tina's Surgical Story," a Silver Wallie for a TV advertisement for "Stephanie's Maternity Story," and a Golden Tusk award for patient and customer relations for Beaufort Memorial's MyBMH Patient Portal.
