Fahey: Boutique to reopen in new Bluffton location

Cocoon, in the former Chica's bridal boutique space at 6 Promenade St., will host its grand opening Nov. 12, according to owner Ann Marie Fiore. The store specializes in fine linens, tabletops, monogramming and apparel.

Fiore said her new space is larger than her previous spot and that the Promenade location is ideal.

"This is where the people are," she said. "This is where I wanted to be. There's a wonderful sense of community here."

Fiore said she hopes to expand to include more apparel, jewelry and personalized stationary after reopening in Old Town. Fiore says she has been in retail "her entire adult life" and previously operated a bridal boutique in New Jersey.
