Fahey: Fat Patties, Salt Marsh Brewing now open in Bluffton
Fat Patties and Salt Marsh Brewing, in a combined two-story building at 207 Bluffton Road, opened Wednesday, according to owner Nick Borreggine.
The burger restaurant, with its original location in Beaufort, is known for its 8 oz. beef, chicken, beef and bacon, turkey, shrimp, and black bean burgers. Fat Patties also serves snacks, salads, tacos and brats.
Borreggine said that Salt Marsh Brewing, on the second floor, is also now up and running. The microbrewery is currently serving five beers: Pick-a-Peppa pumpkin porter, Hoppin John Jay IPA, State of Mind saison, Round Tuit pale ale and Hive-a-weisen.
The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and late night, Borreggine said.
