Bluffton Farmers Market: Best in SC

For the second consecutive year, the Farmers Market of Bluffton has been voted the most celebrated Farmers Market in South Carolina.

The American Farmland Trust awards the designation each summer. Nationwide, the Bluffton market finished 11th.

"We are proud to be recognized once again for our continued efforts to support our local growers and vendors and to serve our community with pride," market manager Kim Viljac said in a statement.

Since 2008, the market has sold local produce, seafood and meats. It's open from 2 to 7 p.m. every Thursday on Calhoun Street.
