Someone in Beaufort County is $50,000 richer today. Thanks, Powerball

While there was no jackpot winner in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, a winning ticket for $50,000 was sold on Hilton Head Island, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Circle K #5383 on William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island sold the $50,000 winning ticket.

Mo Mart on Dorchester Road in North Charleston also sold a ticket worth $200,000, the lottery said.

More than 24,000 players won prizes in the state Wednesday night.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 12, 30, 36, 47, 62. The Powerball number was 9.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Odds of winning $50,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 913,129.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday is $356 million.
