Operation Cool Down seeks nominations for free air conditioner

Covert Aire of Bluffton is joining forces with Apex Media Group and Bryant Air Conditioning Systems to help members of the community stay cooler this summer.

Operation Cool Down was created to assist nominated families or individuals with repairs or replacement of an air-conditioning system free of charge.

The public can participate by sharing a nomination of anyone they know who may need help. To be considered for Operation Cool Down, send in the story of a person or family who needs help. Nonprofits and civic organizations also are encouraged to make nominations of someone in need of AC repairs or replacement. Submit stories by June 15 at www.covertaire.com by clicking on the “Contact Us” tab and completing the contact form.
