Spartina 449 will open another new store in the Lowcountry just in time for Black Friday

You won’t have to drive all the way to Tanger Outlets Pooler this holiday shopping season to get Spartina 449 outlet store merchandise.

Spartina 449, a locally based handbag, accessories and apparel company, will open an outlet store in Tanger Outlets Hilton Head in Tanger 2 between Claire’s and Crocs Outlet by Black Friday, according to project manager Jessica Maples. The outlet store will replace the former Jared Vault jewelry store.

“It will kind of mirror the outlet store that we already have in Tanger (Outlets) Pooler,” she said. “The only difference is we will be selling a few things that are called factory seconds.”

Maples said factory seconds are brand new, never-been open products that have slight imperfections. The new store in Tanger 2 will also sell normal outlet merchandise, she said.

This new outlet will be the fifth Spartina store to open in the country, according to Maples. The company is planning to open a sixth location in Charleston in early 2017 and a seventh store in the Shelter Cove Towne Center on Hilton Head Island, projected to open sometime in the spring.

“We’re so excited to be opening another store,” she said.
