Lowcountry author Stephanie Austin Edwards will be on hand at a book launch event for her debut novel, “What We Set in Motion” next week.
A writing teacher and author consultant, Edwards’ new book is set in the turbulent, colorful 1970’s. The daughter of a prominent South Carolina Lowcountry family flees to New York’s Greenwich Village to become a dancer.
The book won a “Best Submission” award at the Atlanta Writer’s Club Conference in 2013 and has received favorable reviews.
A drop-in for Edwards will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 1, at the historic Union Church of Port Royal, 1004 11th St., Port Royal.
Participants can have a book held for them by RSVP to the email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
