Lucas: Look for Bluffton's Lee Jean on 'Hollywood Week' this week
Those hoping to see Bluffton teen Lee Jean on "American Idol" this week may finally be in luck.
The famed -- or infamous, depending on how you see it -- "Hollywood Week" starts this week.
Several weeks ago, Jean, 16, appeared before celebrity judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. on what is the final season of the show and was awarded his ticket to Hollywood.
Hollywood Week -- which is actually spread out over the course of two weeks -- gives Idol hopefuls, including Jean, another chance to wow judges.
A showcase round with the top 24 semi-finalists will be revealed on Feb. 4.
Additional highlights include previous 'Idol' winners Nick Fradiani, Taylor Hicks, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze who will join the show in the search for talent.
Kelly Clarkson, who won the first season, will return Feb. 25 as a guest judge and performer, according to the show's website.
The show is scheduled to run through April 7 and will conclude with a live, two-hour farewell celebration as this season marks the final chapter in the show's 15-year run.
American Idol airs from 8-9 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8-10 p.m. on Thursdays on FOX.
