HH Golf & Tennis Festival hosting exhibition Thursday at Palmetto Dunes

The Hilton Head Island Golf & Tennis Festival is holding an exhibition at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center.

The exhibition is free and open to the public and offers the opportunity to see four accomplished tennis players --and Hilton Head Island residents -- in action.

THE PLAYERS

Christian Coley: Played at Marist College for four years; Played No. 1 singles and led the team to three consecutive conference championships and three NCAA tournament appearances. He has been a practice partner for various top-100 ATP and WTA players as well as legends such as Ivan Lendl and Jimmy Arias. He is now the Director of Instruction at Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy.

Tommy Shimada: Former top-40 ATP doubles player and 2000 Sydney Olympian for Japan; Won three ATP doubles titles and registered wins over the Bryan brothers, Roger Federer and Andy Roddick.

Marcos Ondruska: Ranked as high as No. 27 in the world in singles; 1996 Atlanta Olympian for South Africa; Reached the fourth round of Australian Open singles play and was a semifinalist in doubles; Former coach of Jennifer Capriati and Vince Spadea.

Nathan Perrone: 15 years old; Ranked No. 3 Boys' 14U in the U.S. in 2013; Placed fifth in National Winter Championships (Boys 16); Ranked No. 827 in ITF Junior World Rankings.
