Bullfrog tennis tournament returns to Hilton Head Island

The Van Der Meer Tennis Academy will welcome 256 of the top junior players in the Southeast in the 12-under and 14-under divisions this weekend as it hosts the seventh annual Hilton Head Bullfrog USTA Southern Section Designated.

The tournament, which is free to the public, will be played from Friday through Sunday at five island facilities: Van De Meer Shipyard (SHIP), Van De Meer Tennis Center (VDM), Palmetto Dunes (PD), Chaplin Park (CHAP) and Hilton Head Beach and Tennis (HHBT).

The boys and girls 12s will be played on hard courts (CHAP, HHBT, VDM), while the boys and girls 14s will be played at two clay facilities (SHIP, PD).
