HHH's Margo Dill follows up 1st double-double with career-high 28 points
Former Hilton Head Island High School basketball standout Margo Dill followed up her first double-double this season for Converse College (1-12) with a career-high 28 points in a 68-67 loss to Mount Olive on Saturday.
Dill is enjoying a fine senior campaign at Converse even though the Valkyries have struggled. The 5-foot-9 guard leads the team in scoring at 10.8 points per gam. Last year, Dill led the team in scoring and rebounding at 9.5 and 7.7 per game, respectively.
At Hilton Head, Dill led the Seahawks in scoring in back-to-back seasons (2009, 2010), earning two Island Packet All-Area nods. She averaged 15.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.4 steals her senior season. She began her college career at Spartanburg Methodist College.
