Super Bowl Sunday 5K: Here’s your chance to exercise before settling on the couch

Okatie’s 13th annual Super Bowl Sunday 5k Run/walk will be held Sunday starting at 10 a.m.

Entry fee for the 5K is $25 ($5 discount for Sun City) postmarked by Jan. 29; $27 for drop-off entries Thursday through Saturday and $30 on race day.

The event is sponsored by the Okatie Ale House, and proceeds will benefit THON, the Penn State IFC/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon to help conquer Pediatric Cancer. Awards are given for the top two places in each age group, and free T-shirts to the first 100 entries. The 5K will also feature a Kids Fun Run and a golf cart decorating contest.
