Hunting private lands in Beaufort County and beyond, Lowcountry Hunt keeps alive traditional foxhunting on picturesque plantations. Riders from Savannah to Charleston come to track foxes and coyotes — maybe a bobcat, from time to time. It’s a rough and tumble sport filled with falls from horses and nicked-up hounds, and it’s a pageant of jacketed riders and well-groomed horses that plays out on a stage of natural beauty.
