Panthers not increasing season ticket prices for most PSL owners. Here’s what we know
Most Carolina Panthers personal seat license owners at Bank of America Stadium will not have their season ticket prices increase for the 2022 season.
The team sent invoices to PSL owners Thursday morning informing them that ticket prices will remain flat for the upcoming season. What PSL owners paid in 2021 will be what they pay in 2022, with an exception for those in premium seating areas.
Premium tickets — the club seats in the stadium’s suites — will increase based on the terms of their individual contracts.
Bank of America Stadium seats about 75,000. An exact number of seats allocated to PSL owners wasn’t immediately available. There are approximately 11,000 club seats.
“Each season we take a strategic and analytical approach to ticket pricing by evaluating a variety of factors, and make a decision based on that analysis,” a Panthers spokesperson said in a statement. “Each year our fans make the decision to spend their hard-earned money with us and we sincerely appreciate the investment our PSL Owners make and the support they give us each season.”
Season ticket holders can pay in full by May 2, or they have an option of an interest-free, six-month payment plan from March to August.
Last year the Panthers raised season ticket prices. The seats affected in the lower bowl went up between $5 to $15 per game, and those in the upper bowl will increased by $3 per game.
Based on 2021 data, team ranked 17th in non-premium ticket pricing with an average ticket price of $107. Last season the Panthers hosted two home preseason games and eight regular-season games. In 2022, the Panthers have nine regular-season home games and one in the preseason.
The Panthers will announce pricing for single-game tickets once the schedule is released in May. About 7,000 tickets are usually available for sale on a single-game basis.
