Isaiah Thomas is all smiles these days.

He’s in a happy place since joining the Charlotte Hornets and is enjoying every moment, doing whatever he can to lend a hand during their season-ending run. His reach goes beyond the 8.6 points and 2.2 assists he’s averaged in the five games he’s played in.

Thomas’ voice is already respected and he’s added another needed veteran presence on a team featuring a young core that lacks some of the experience he has. Quickly, he’s settled in and integrated himself perfectly in short time.

In the latest episode of The QC Hornets’ Nest podcast, Thomas discussed fitting in with the Hornets on and off the floor, how he’s been embraced by the coaching staff and his new teammates, his comfort level with life and more.

The weekly podcast can also be found on Apple and Spotify.
