Retired NASCAR champion lists Lake Norman mansion in Mooresville for sale
Retired champion NASCAR driver Martin Truex Jr. has listed his Lake Norman mansion in Mooresville for sale, according to Ivester Jackson/Christie’s International Real Estate.
Truex, the Cup Series’ oldest active driver at the time, retired from full-time racing after the 2024 season. He won the Cup Series championship in 2017 and the Xfinity Series 2004 and 2005 championships.
His 8,763-square-foot gated, European-style estate at 172 Tennessee Circle is for sale for $7.5 million, according to its exclusive listing by agent Liza Caminiti.
Neighbors: NFL star Christian McCaffrey, supermodel Olivia Culpo
Tennessee Circle is off Fern Hill Road and Perth Road in northwest Mooresville.
NFL star Christian McCaffrey and his wife, supermodel Olivia Culpo, lived just down the street from Truex Jr., in the $12.5 million Grand Lac Chateau estate at 154 Tennessee Circle.
Truex Jr.’s home includes nearly five gated, waterfront acres. A tree-lined drive leads to the five-bedroom, five-bathroom main house, which includes a grand living room with “soaring ceilings and lake views,” according to its listing.
The property also has a carriage house with a guest apartment, and a large workshop/garage.
Two-story closet, infinity pool
The main home has a chef’s kitchen, formal dining room and a main-level primary suite with a spa bath and two-story closet.
Upstairs are en-suite guest rooms and a second office with a loft.
The finished basement includes a custom bar, theater, gym and game area, while the outside of the home includes an infinity pool, waterfall, fire pit and a dock with a boat lift.
