Interactives: Baseball's All-Star Game voting by team and player

FindTheBest.com

It's amazing how an unexpected World Series appearance can reinvigorate a small-market fan base. One season after capturing the American League pennant, devoted followers of the Kansas City Royals have stuffed the ballot boxes for this summer’s All-Star Game.

MLB released the voting results for top five vote-getters for each position (top 15 for outfielders) in both the American and National League this week. With five projected starters and nearly 10 million votes to account for in the first voting update, the Royals have nearly twice as much support as the next closest team, the St. Louis Cardinals. That includes the top two vote-getters, catcher Salvador Perez and outfielder Lorenzo Cain, and four of the top eight overall.
