American Legion baseball: Beaufort blanks Walterboro

The American Legion Beaufort Ospreys kept Walterboro scoreless in its 8-0 victory on Monday.

Pitchers Dallas Higuet, Michael Smyth and Patrick Talbert allowed only two hits and had five strikeouts.

Dallas Higuet was 3 for 4, with a double, home run and three RBIs.

Griffin Yeager was 3 for 5, with one home run, and Hartley Smith was 2 for 4.

The Ospreys played at home Tuesday against Walterboro and will play at 7 p.m. Thursday at Walterboro.
