American Legion Baseball: Beaufort defeats Orangeburg

The American Legion Post 9 Beaufort Ospreys defeated Orangeburg 9-8 in 11 innings on Tuesday.

Griffin Yeager was 2 for 4, and Rome Wallace was 2 for 5, both with a double and two RBIs. Dallas Higuet was 1 for 3. Brice Adkins was 2 for 6, with two RBIs and the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 11th.

American Legion Post 9 will play at Orangeburg at 7 p.m. Thursday.
