SCISAA playoff games set for Hilton Head Prep, Thomas Heyward Academy

Hilton Head Prep will host Holly Hill Academy on Friday night in the first round of the SCISA Class 1-A playoffs.

But the Dolphins will still have to hit the road. Prep will hold the game at 7 p.m. on Hilton Head Christian's field.

"I think the rule is they all have to be played at night," Hilton Head Prep coach Kevin Wald said, referring to the fact that Prep's home field has no lights. "I wish we could play at our field."

The game will start at 7 p.m. instead of the common 7:30 p.m.

"It's my understanding the lights have to be off by a certain time," Wald said.

Thomas Heyward Academy will travel to Dillon Christian for a 7:30 p.m. game, as well.

Bishop England at Battery Creek, 7:30 p.m.

North Charleston at Whale Branch, 7:30 p.m.

Beaufort at Berkeley, 7:30 p.m.

Hanahan at Hilton Head Island, 7:30 p.m.
