Touchstone Energy Bowl rosters released. See who’ll play in annual SC all-star game
Rosters for the 76th annual Touchstone Energy Bowl were announced on Wednesday morning.
The annual contest, formerly known as the North-South game, will be Dec. 9 at Myrtle Beach High School.
North leads the all-time series 41-31-2 and won last year’s game, 22-14.
The Columbia-area is well-represented in the game with 18 selections including Virginia commit Myles Brown (Ridge View), Appalachian State commits JT Sowell (Gray Collegiate) and Dylan Barbery (Airport) and SC State commit Zai Offord (Gray Collegiate).
In addition to the game, South Carolina’s Mr. Football will be announced at halftime. Finalists for the award will be announced on Oct. 25.
There also will be the Joanne Langfitt Top SC Junior Showcase held on Dec. 8 and feature some of the top juniors in the state.
