Bryce Singleton scored on the game’s opening drive, but Hilton Head Island wouldn’t crack the end zone again Friday night as No.3 Hartsville turned on the jets with a 77-10 romp in their Class 3A playoff opener in Hartsville.

The Red Foxes (10-1) ran back a pair of blocked punts for touchdowns during a 35-point second quarter, turning a 14-7 advantage after one quarter into a 56-10 cushion by the time the contest reached halftime.

Singleton scored on a 1-yard run to cap Hilton Head Island’s opening drive, which was set up by a kickoff return to the 50. Jonathan Orr added a second-quarter field goal to provide the only other points, as the Seahawks finished their season at 6-5.
