HHCA’s Zach Doe, two QBs top area list of SCISA all-region selections

Hilton Head Christian's Zach Doe, who rushed for 1,111 yards in just eight games, and playoff quarterbacks Logan Thomas (Thomas Heyward) and Kevin Williams (Beaufort Academy) headed up the list of SCISA all-region selections this season.

Thomas, who led Thomas Heyward in rushing and passing, was one of five Rebels honored in SCISA Class 1A. The Rebels (6-5) placed third in their region and were ousted in the first round of the playoffs by Pee Dee Academy.

Williams, who also topped the 1,000-yard rushing mark, was named as a running back even though he served as BA’s quarterback. He was one of six Eagles named to the all-region team in 8-man football.

Hilton Head Prep placed five men on the Class 2A all-region team, led by versatile Rodney Sturgis and Mac Orie. Doe was one of two HHCA selections, along with wideout James Bartholomew.
