Hilton Head Christian held in check by Bethesda Academy

Zach Doe ran for 52 yards and a touchdown as Hilton Head Christian found itself stymied by Bethesda Academy’s defense, losing a 24-6 decision that knocked the Eagles out of contention for the SCISA Class 2A playoff berth.

Trevon Pray ran for 103 yards and a touchdown to lead the Blazers, adding another score on an interception return. Quarterback Nate Lattimore added 48 yards and a TD rushing, plus 76 yards and another score through the air.

Linebacker Chandler Edmonds produced 10 tackles to lead the Eagles (1-6, 0-3 region), while Craig Oliver added seven and Max Lowrey had six.
