EXTRA POINTS: Northside Christian, located in Lexington, is playing its first varsity season and needed just two games to notch its first victory. Newberry Academy was the victim. ... Beaufort Academy seeks to avoid its first 0-4 start since the 2008 campaign, when the Eagles were in their second varsity season and wound up 1-9. ... The Eagles are averaging 28 points per game but need to figure out how to make a few more defensive stops. BA has yet to allow fewer than 38 points in any contest.
