Beaufort girls fall at Midland Valley, end bounce back season

The Beaufort girls basketball team lost on the road in the first round of the Class 3-A playoffs on Monday, 75-32 to Midland Valley.

“They had a great season,” head coach Reggie Jones said. “They did everything I asked. I told them to make it to the playoffs, they did, and now we move further next year.

“Thank you to our fans and community.”

The Eagles finished 17-8 after winning a combined the nine games the previous three seasons. This was their first playoff appearance since 2010.
