Lowcountry roundup: Beaufort Academy’s season ends in SCISA semifinals
Beaufort Academy’s girls’ basketball season came to an end Thursday.
Patrick Henry defeated the Eagles, 59-52, in the SCISA Class A semifinals at Wilson Hall High School. Patrick Henry will play for the state championship Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Amelia Huebel led Beaufort Academy with 15 points while Becca Frelin had 13 and Karolina Struharova had 11.

Hilton Head Prep wins tri-match
Jonathan Griz shot a 74 as Hilton Head Prep won a tri-match with Trinity Byrnes and Hilton Head Christian on Thursday at Sea Pines.
HHP finished with a 224, 17 shots ahead of Trinity-Byrnes and 19 over Hilton Head Christian. The match featured the last three SCISA 2A champions. T-B’s Gene Zeigler won medalist honors with a 73.
