John Paul II’s Devore named Region 4-2A Player of Year.

John Paul II’s Tkai Devore was named SCISA Region 4-2A Girls Player of Year, while Hilton Head Christian placed three on region’s first-team, released Monday.

Hilton Head Christian first-team selections were Jasmine Campbell, Jossie Frazier and Brielle McCarthy. Beaufort Academy’s Karolina Struharova.

Devore averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4.5 steals a game in helping the Warriors to their first 20-win season and a second-place finish in the region.

Beaufort Academy’s Lillian Alfred at Hilton Head Christian’s Kenny Conroy shared region coach of year honors.

Beaufort Academy’s Amelia Hubel and Kendall Duncan, Thomas Heyward’s Ivy Bryan and HHP’s Kiersten Clark were second-team picks.

Honorable Mention selections included Hilton Head Prep’s Ella Clark and Alana McCallion, John Paul II’s Anyannah Thompson and Jasmine Hamilton and Thomas Heyward’s Alanya Delong.
