High school basketball result: North/South All-Star Classic

Garay part of North/South win: Beaufort’s Matt Garay scored two points and grabbed four rebounds as the South boys came out on top in the North/South All-Star Classic, taking a 106-102 victory in the annual showcase in Lexington.

Garay also blocked two shots in his 10 minutes of court time. He averaged 15.1 points and 7.6 rebounds during his senior season, drawing interest from such schools as Limestone, Erskine, North Carolina A&T and USC Aiken.
